Headaches and Migraines

Treating Headaches and Migraines with Osteopathy

Headaches and migraines affect a large number of people on daily basis, and while a slight headache can be an annoyance, if you suffer from migraines then this can be a chronic problem.

There are many treatments available for headaches and migraines, but if your symptoms persist then we can use osteopathic treatment to try and help to relieve the pain.

As with all treatments at Oxspines, we will aim to identify the root of the causes of your headaches before providing a personalised programme of care.

We will focus on alleviating tension in the neck and shoulders, as well as using gentle massage, manipulation and work on temporomanibular joint (jaw).

Your headache may be caused in part by a bad posture, so we will also offer advice on correct posture and exercise as well as addressing breathing mechanics and associated neck muscles.

Please do contact us if you suffer from headaches and/or migraines and would like an osteopath to help. You can email us using the form provided or call Alison on 07894 151654.
